TILS' Inspiring Initiative: Enhancing Language, Thoughts and Emotions

Educational Start-up TILS Education has introduced a unique initiative aimed at fostering the mental, educational, intellectual, and spiritual growth of students. For the past eight years, TILS has been organizing group discussions almost every Sunday, focusing on improving not just communication skills but also cultivating deeper understanding and better decision-making in students.

TILS Founder, Abhilash Modi, explained that initially, the primary goal of these group discussions was to enhance students' communication skills, helping them choose the right words and preparing them for group discussion rounds in interviews. However, over time, the team realized that effective communication is only possible when thoughts and emotions are aligned in the right direction.

Now, every Sunday, a group of students and key members of the TILS team engage in discussions on crucial but often overlooked life topics. These sessions cover themes such as self-respect, self-acceptance, life perspective, positivity, and time management. Through these insightful discussions, students develop deeper thinking and a more refined outlook, skills that prove beneficial in their future endeavors.

Prateek Saini, TILS' Creative Head, emphasized that the right environment and group discussions can instill positivity and clear thinking in students. Many participants have shared that this initiative has not only improved their speaking abilities but also transformed their approach to problem-solving, allowing them to view challenges from a fresh perspective and use sound reasoning to address them.

Abhilash Modi further shared plans to expand the initiative, welcoming more students to join these discussions. He believes that this process will help many more students gain valuable insights and steer their lives in a positive direction.
